We are lucky enough to have a few signed copies after our wonderful event with Matt Gaw last week.

'The Pull Of The River' is an inspiring and truly beautiful book from the increasingly influential Suffolk-based nature writer Matt Gaw. 

Recounting tales of travelling UK rivers in a home made two-man canoe could easily become something of a hard paddle upstream, but in Matt Gaw's poetic and skilful hands, we slip through British landscapes, weather patterns, and river currents, in good times and bad, with historical perspective, and consummate ease.
Matt Gaw takes us onto the water with fresh eyes, picking out his own meticulous details: the Brylcreemed crests of herons and cocoa dusted cappuccinos of river foam, for example. 
This is hugely entertaining writing to read, and educational in the best sense, for the book never lectures but encourages us to look with refreshed eyes.
I can not promise to get into a canoe any time soon, but I can promise that I now look at all of our rivers, both those around me and those further afield, in a totally new way.
Highly recommended reading.
