Illustration Club for 8+ run by Illustrator Kate Rolfe 

Do you like drawing? We do too! And books? SAME HERE! We will be designing characters inspired by our favourite animals. We'll explore the wonderful world of illustrating books. We'll be creating characters, inventing our own stories & finding exciting ways to draw them. Everything is provided so join us.

We'll look to explore all sorts of areas - from contrasts of characters, how you can show emotion in your drawings through body language and through the composition of the drawing, the arc of a story, how you build a story, how to create drama and suspense, through to designing your own book cover.... And obviously there'll be some extra-terrestrial characters, maybe a few spooky ones as we get to 'that time of year'                                                                                                                                   for 8yrs+                                                                                                                                                                        Cost £8
