Dream up and design your own zine! In this taster session we will be thinking about the topics we care about, finding different ways to explore them with illustrations & words. Making a zine is a great way to share the things that inspire you, as well as building your creative writing, drawing, and design skills. Everything is provided and you’ll take your own mini zine home with you.Cost £8

Saturday 27th 11am-1pm Collecting Characters & Sketching Stories for 15+ with Illustrator Kate Rolfe
For beginners & experienced illustrators alike. Join us for an inspiring morning of sketching in Framlingham- collecting characters, spotting the stories that spring up all around us. We’ll spend the first hour drawing outside in the square then we’ll return to the book room we’ll look at our sketches & turn them into compelling characters & sparks for story ideas. Cost £25
Kate Rolfe is an illustrator based in Framlingham who loves drawing and storytelling! Kate is currently working on two books of her own, as well as teaching illustration and running regular creative meetups for fellow illustrators. Kate’s all-time favourite thing is reading picture books while cuddling up with her wobbly cat, Pip.
