    Agent Asha by Sophie Deen

We are thrilled to announce that author Holly Rivers (author of Demelza and the Spectre Detectors) will be speaking to author Serean Patel about her new book  Anisha Accidental Detective on Friday 30th at 2pm on our Instagram. Pop the date in your diary so that you don't forget it. And send through any questions you'd like to ask Serena about

You can order signed copies of Anisha Accidental Detective by Serena Patel on our website here

Welcome to the world of Anisha! When things go wrong Anisha would really rather stay out of it and hide in her book. But whether it’s the mysterious disappearance of Uncle Tony the day before his wedding to Aunty Bindi or the secret sabotage of Anisha’s science fair volcano there’s only one person (and her best friend animal whispering Milo) who can save the day. Join Anisha as she encounters a lobster, a secretive Granny, a scary looking chauffeur, many mishaps, foam floods and more!
    About Serena:
I think I’ve always loved writing and reading. Reading books was my favourite thing to do when I was a kid. It allowed me to escape into other worlds and go on wild adventures with weird and wonderful characters. I always felt like the odd one out at school but in books it was better to stand out than fit in. That gave me hope. I loved Roald Dahl’s books, his best characters had quiet strength and a spark of mischief running through them. Matilda was my favourite.
As an author now myself (that feels weird to say out loud!) I try to write characters who are a bit weird and wacky, they’re always getting themselves into trouble though!
So, if you have any questions that you would like to ask Serena please do send them through....
